Getting started with Apple Pay
Before you can start accepting Apple Pay in your checkout, you need to complete the following steps:
- Set up your server
- Prepare your domain(s) for verification
- Activate Apple Pay for your merchant
Step 1: Set up your server
The first step is to set up your server for secure communication with Apple Pay.
All pages that include Apple Pay must be served over https using a valid SSL certificate.
Step 2: Prepare your domain(s) for verification
Complete the following steps to prepare your domain(s) for merchant registration.

Download Svea's domain-verification file.

Host Svea's domain-verification file at the following path for each domain you wish to register:
https://[DOMAIN_NAME]/.well-known/apple-developer-merchantid-domain-associationMake sure the domain-verification file is in place before requesting merchant registration from Svea.
The file must:
- Have
Content-Type: text/plain - Be externally accessible
- Not have password protection
- Not be behind any proxy or redirect
- Have
Step 3: Activate Apple Pay for your merchant
With all the previous steps completed, activate Apple Pay for your merchant by submitting a request providing the following information:

You currently need to submit the request to active Apple Pay for your merchant with your point of contact at Svea through e-mail. Once your request has been processed by Svea you're all set up and we will notify you.
Apple Pay in Checkout and Payment Admin
Apple Pay will be included in responses from both Checkout and Payment Admin.
